These knives are hand forged by Hiroshi Kato who is a certified traditional craftsman in Takefu, Fukui prefecture in Japan. The Damascus finish is not only beautiful, but also prevents food sticking to the side of the blade. These knives are made from Super Blue steel and have a razor sharp edge for clean cutting. The distinct design of the blade makes them a pleasure to view. These knives would be an ideal gift for any chef.
