Did you know?

In Japan, it is traditionally bad luck to give a knife as a gift, as it is said the blade will cut the relationship's ties. There's a workaround for this, and here's how to do it:

1) Put a small domination (penny or nickel) inside the box with the knife.
2) The receiver of the gift then returns the domination to the gift giver as 'payment' for the knife, therefore negating the bad luck.
